Agriturismo Montecastello

On the Hills of Val d'Era, in Montecastello, near Villa Castello dei Malaspina Torrigiani, inside our 70 hectares "Estate" of olive trees, lawns and wood, stands our GRANGE dated 1790 and a charming barn.

Both buildings, which dominate the valley, are fragmented in eight independent apartments, (of which 2 are conceived for disable people). These apartments are of different dimensions and finely restructured in "Rustico Toscano"(Rural Style) and well plunged in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Our farm is full of footpaths and trackways, ideal for relaxing walks on foot, in mountain bike or on horseback, which connect our "Tenuta", with the characteristic surrounding hamlets and villages.

Our outdoor swimming-pool with hydromassage, kissed by the sun and surrounded by trees, is opened from May to September.

A few steps from the barn, hidden by the wood, you will discover an astonishing Etruscan grave, very well preserved.

You will spend pleasant moments on our terrace, tasting old flavours of the traditional Tuscan cuisine, like our delicious home-made extra-virgin olive-oil cooking by yourselves in our old furnace.

The Prices include:
Water, electricity, gas (not for heating), swimming-pool, garden facilities, napery and bed-clothes, television, use of the furnace.
